The World Hope Givers (WHG) was founded at Goma, in Eastern DR Congo since February 17, 2022, by Mr Alain BAYONGWA the NGO responds to the humanitarian needs of populations in crisis situations and respect for their dignity, while promoting and implementing opportunities for sustainable development and human rights, investing in human potential. WHG has already implemented more than 11 projects per year with 2500 beneficiaries in the territory of Nyiragongo, Ituri, Walikale and Beni, in North Kivu and in the territory of Kabare in South Kivu in the Eastern region of the DRC.
Our teams are made up of 45 volunteer employees. WHG is committed to responding to emergencies and building resilience to crisis situations, building effective governance, and promoting inclusive and sustainable growth. WHG develops and implements programs for the most vulnerable populations who suffer from violence, conflict, natural disasters or endemic poverty.
WHG’s approach goes beyond emergency response, with a commitment to sustainable development and community access to livelihoods. It works on behalf of crisis-affected communities by working to promote their rights and strengthen their health, safety, economic well-being, education and decision-making power.
